    SWISS IRRIGATION NUCLEUS CHOPPER

The smaller the incision, the more stable the anterior chamber, with improved control during capsulorhexis and hydrodissection. Smaller wounds heal more rapidly with less risk of leakage and a theoretically reduced risk of endophthalmitis. A move to 2 small incisions allow greater surgical control with separate irrigation and aspiration during bimanual phacoemulsification as well as bimanual irrigation/aspiration for the efficient removal of subincisional cortex.

Swiss irrigating nucleus chopper – the key to successful bimanual ultrasmall-incision phacoemulsification surgery.

Perfectly finished, stable choppers avoid traumatic injuries and assure efficient removal of nucleus and cortex
Ergonomic shaped and colour coded lightweight titanium handpiece ensure good manoeuvrability
Precisely designed “aeroplane-nose” tips ensure optimum fluidic conditions and easy entry through smallest of incisions
The Swiss Irrigating choppers are compatible with all existing I/A and Phaco units
