04.12.2012 | Extension of shelf-life for single-use I/A Systems and Phaco-Accessories

We are pleased to inform you that all single-use use I/A Systems and Phaco-Accessories will come with a shelf-life of 5 instead of 3 years from next year on.

04.12.2012 | NAVIJECTTM 2.2-1P (LP604426) Injector-Set
In 2009 we have introduced a new cartridge/injector version navijectTM 2.2-1P (LP604426). Since then we had two almost identical models of the LP604225 and LP604426. As the majority of our customers prefer the model LP604225, we will discontinue the model LP604426 in course of 2013.

In 2012 we have introduced BIOFILM-coated ACCUJECTTM and VISCOJECTTM injector-sets. The market feedback was very positive and complaints with regard to scratched IOLs and pinched haptics have dropped dramatically. As the former versions are not requested any longer, we will discontinue non-coated products by mid of 2013 at the latest.
