In 2003 we introduced the VISCOJECTTM lens injection system which now enables the ophthalmic surgeon the possibility to inject a lens into the eye through an incision which is below 2.00mm whilst ensuring that no deformation or damage to the intraocular lens occurs and without any incision stretch, thus giving patients the opportunity to have their cataract removed without any surgically induced astigmatism.

The latest extension to our product range is the VISCOJECTTM Injector set which includes the world leading VISCOGLIDETM cartridge and a new single-use injector.
Step by step the NAVIJECTTM system, which represents a completely new generation of lens injection systems, will be introduced in the course of 2006. The NAVIJECTTM system combines the well proven visco-hydraulic “Silicone Cushion Technology” (SCT) with a simple and user-friendly lens loading system.

As a part of our continued commitment to the development of innovative products for safe and successful ophthalmic surgery we have introduced the FIRST LINETM range of single use disposable instruments. The FIRST LINETM range includes refined and precision engineered irrigation and aspiration hand pieces for the bi-manual technique of cortical aspiration and the first fully disposable mono-manual hand pieces. The FIRST LINETMsingle use products also include phaco tips and COOLFLOWTM infusion sleeves and phaco tips for micro incision surgery. When used in combination with the VISCOJECTTM system surgeons can now perform an entire cataract removal procedure through an incision below 2.00mm
